The Karate Kid

Like the Wolfman, the Karate Kid is a remake of its predecessor of the same name, except that this time around, its not karate anymore, its Chinese Kung-Fu, and the protagonist is now an 12-year old kid who gets severe lovesickness (I mean c'mon, a 12 year old kid swooning over someone already? I know kids nowadays mature fast, but this?)

The Catcher in the Rye

Originally published in 1951 for adults, this novel has since been translated into almost all languages available to the world. And from what I understand, it's a rather popular work, selling almost 250, 000 copies each year. Considering the fact that it's 59 years old, that's quite a feat. It makes you wonder whether twilight will sell 250, 000 copies each year after its decline (though I seriously doubt so).

Blogger in French!

No, it does not concern you, unless you have a sudden desire to click the "Signaler un abus" button on top, which is the French version of "report for abuse". Rest assured, I will still be posting in English. The French language change was made to help me improve my vocabulary in French (however futile the attempt is).

On a side note, congratulations for wasting (another) few minutes of your life reading this.

Education, the government's way

This is dedicated to those who actually want education, but can't afford it due to certain problems. No, I'm not going to give an objective view of what the problem is, and yes, I will be bashing certain issues with extreme prejudice. Onward!

Grotesque

From the author of "Out" comes "Grotesque", a tale of twisted thoughts, depicting the faces of society most of us are not aware of. This is yet another title sporting a face on its cover. If the face doesn't interest you, I don't know what will (pun intended, did you get the reference?).
